MAKING CHANGE COORDINATOR
Applications are sought for the position of Coordinator for our Making
Change education and development project with a focus on supporting
families in Redclyffe family hub (a project of Good Shepherd Cork).
This purpose of this, part-time, role is to expand the education and
personal development opportunities available to the women, children
and families staying in our residential services with a particular
focus on Redclyffe, our family hub service for families who are
homeless.
This position will involve working **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HRS PER
WEEK. Flexibility will be required around working hours and some
evening and weekend work will be required. The post will initially be
offered on a one-year contract (renewable subject to funding).
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Strong experience of working in a social care (or educational
setting with vulnerable learners) and an understanding of issues and
obstacles that may prevent a resident?s engagement in personal
development and educational actives.
* Experience of developing and delivering educational or personal
development activities/programmes.
* Strong communication and team player skills. The ability to bring
people and schedules together.
* Computer literacy skills.
* Full clean driving license (and willingness to drive the GSC
minibus on occasions)
* Ability to work on own initiative with strong reflective skills.
* Firm commitment to the ethos and values of Good Shepherd Cork.
